Belgian and utterly incapable of sticking to one fandom. My heart is shared by Scott McCall, Dean Winchester, the real Peter Parker, Buffy Summers, Spike, Clark Kent, Miles Morales, Kieren Walker, Steve Rogers and too many others to count

Why is it that people think that Peter Parker marrying Mary Jane and having a child is unlikely but getting bitten by a radioactive spider and getting powers is totally believable?

Nobody spoke about it being unlikely. It’s more a question as to whether that’s a great idea for that character.

Well it’s a better idea than allowing Dan Slott, aka the worst Spider-Man writer of all time, to keep on writing his worthless excuse of a character that he has the guts to call Spider-Man.

Peter being married and having a child can be interesting, innovative,.. maturing the character, which makes him more interesting. Compared to the worthless piece of shit loser who fails at everything that Slott turned him into .

Because Slott is the main reason I’ve given up on most of Marvel. The fact that Marvel doesn’t get just how little Slott understands what makes Peter Parker work, is a huge part of why I just don’t trust Marvel to get any other character right anymore either.

Right now the only Spider-Man worth reading about is Miles Morales, because at least Miles gets what being Spider-Man is all about. The Peter in Slott’s ASM does not. And when a young teenage boy is more mature, more understanding and more capable than a 30+ year old man, that Peter is supposed to be, then there is something wrong with your comics.
